🩺 1️⃣ NEET Score Validity in India

For MBBS / BDS admission in India, the NEET score is valid only for the same academic year.
- Example: NEET 2025 → valid only for 2025-26 MBBS admissions in India.
- If you don’t take admission that year, you must appear for NEET again next year.

🌍 2️⃣ NEET Score Validity for MBBS Abroad

For MBBS admissions abroad, the NEET score is valid for 3 years from the date of the result declaration.
- This rule was confirmed by the Medical Council of India (MCI) — now the National Medical Commission (NMC).
- It means you can use your NEET result to apply for MBBS abroad within three years of passing NEET.

✅ Example:
If you cleared NEET 2025, your score is valid for:

MBBS abroad admissions until 2028.

📜 3️⃣ Official Basis

As per NMC Gazette Notification and Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, NEET qualification remains valid for three years for the purpose of obtaining the Eligibility Certificate to study MBBS abroad.

🧭 4️⃣ Why This Matters

When applying abroad:

You must upload your NEET scorecard as part of the admission process.
The Indian Embassy / NMC Eligibility Certificate verification uses this validity period.
You don’t have to retake NEET every year if you are applying abroad later within 3 years.
